3D Embroidery
3D embroidery, also known as puff embroidery, is a customization technique that allows you to create raised, i.e. three-dimensional, decorations on fabrics.
How does it work?
The graphic to be embroidered is transmitted to a special software that transforms it into a file containing all the information useful to the embroidery machine such as the number of colors, the size, the type and direction of the stitch, and other specific parameters. Before starting to embroider, it is necessary to stabilize the fabric by using a well-tightened frame and specific materials or adhesives to prevent it from deforming during the embroidery process. The thickness of the embroidery is determined by the foam that is placed on top of the fabric, after which the motif to be reproduced is embroidered. At the end, the excess foam is eliminated.
What can I embroider?
3D embroidery is a unique technique that allows you to personalize promotional items such as hats, blankets and towels. The fabrics that can be embroidered must have a certain weight to ensure that they do not break during processing and to guarantee a high-quality result. Simple, not too detailed logos can be embroidered up to a maximum of 12 colors. It is not possible to obtain a perfect match of pantone colors, due to the limited availability of thread colors.
