Hydro-dipping

 

Hydro-dipping allows for the customization of three-dimensional items in a uniform manner.

How does it work?

The graphic file is printed on a special water-soluble film that is then floated on the immersion tank filled with water. The object is pre-treated and then immersed in the tank. The transfer of the decorative motif occurs by exploiting the hydrostatic pressure of the water on the immersed object. The transfer is “activated” through a special spray solvent, which has the function of dissolving the film texture on the object. The object is washed, dried and protected with a transparent top coat.

Some examples of application on items

Hydro-dipping can be applied to cups and products made of ceramic, wood, glass, metal and plastic.

• Not suitable for flexible objects.
